Outdoor lighting: showcase your terrace and exterior walls
Good outdoor lighting does not try to light up everything: it sets the scene. A few points of warm light are enough to transform exterior walls and a terrace in the evening.
Exterior walls: create rhythm, don't flood
Wall lights with up-and-down beams draw regular halos and give an instant architectural effect. Choose an amber glow over a harsh cool white.
The terrace: low, warm light
Bollards, freestanding lanterns, discreet string lights: light the paths and dining areas at eye level or lower, never straight into people's faces.
The garden: a few accents are enough
A spotlight aimed at a tree or a green wall creates depth. Three or four well-placed accents are better than a dozen scattered points of light.
The right protection rating
As soon as a light is exposed to rain, don't go below IP65. Under eaves, IP44 is enough. Near water, step up to IP67.
Installation: safety first
Protected power supply, earthing, watertight cable gland: outdoor lighting is installed in compliance with NF C 15-100. If in doubt, have the installation checked by an electrician — that is the spirit in which our lights are designed.
The result: exterior walls with character and a terrace where the evening lingers on, without clutter or glare.
